TenancyVaults is an evidence preparation tool. What it shows you, and your evidence pack, are not legal advice.

What TenancyVaults does

  • Reads and organises the evidence you upload.
  • Describes what your documents and photos show, and links them to the deductions you claim.
  • Works out the scheme’s deadline from the dates you give it.
  • Points out evidence that may be missing or weak, so you can look for it before you submit.
  • Drafts your statement and puts your evidence pack together for you to check.

What it doesn’t do

  • Tell you whether you should make a claim, or how much to claim.
  • Predict what the adjudicator will decide.
  • Interpret the law, your tenancy agreement or the scheme’s rules for your situation.
  • Act for you, or submit anything to the scheme for you.

You stay in charge

You decide what to claim, you check everything in your pack, and you submit it to the scheme yourself. The AI makes drafts and can make mistakes; your pack is only ready once you’ve checked it.

Where to get help

If you’re unsure about your rights or obligations, speak to a solicitor or a qualified adviser, such as one from a landlord association. Your deposit scheme publishes its own guidance:

  • TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme)
  • DPS (Deposit Protection Service)
  • mydeposits
